4th Quarter Southwest Idaho
Chapter of NARPM Vacancy Report

January 24, 2013
The fourth quarter Southwest Idaho Chapter of NARPM's Vacancy Report is out! We are seeing many changes in our data as well as having over 22% more units sampled! With the increase of sample size, our data and results are more accurate than ever before.

We are still seeing a steady 3% vacancy rate for the Ada and Canyon counties, although we did see a drop in rent prices for both counties as well. We saw just about a 3% drop in rent prices that affected both single-family and multifamily homes. We are still seeing a high demand for single family homes and expect rent prices to hover or increase for the next quarter. Ada and Canyon counties are still considerably better than the national average in all areas surveyed.
