So just how long does a Foreclosure take?In Idaho, from the time of the official Notice of Default, it must by law be a minimum of 120 Days until the trustee sale.  How long from when you quit making payments do you receive a Notice of Default?  That varies greatly between lenders and even within lenders. It can be 45 days to years, literally years. Most are more likely in the 90 to 120 days time frame.
